BJJ is an incredibly physically demanding sport — and most people never give themselves the tools they need to survive and enjoy it long term.
Jiu Jitsu is tough enough without going in underprepared. You love the sport. Nothing better in the week than the time you spend on the mats with your mates. But your body doesn't hold up — it fights you, and it won't let you train the way you want to.
I was the same for years. Until strength and conditioning — actually preparing my body for the sport — helped me turn that around.
No gimmicky "sport specific" nonsense. No powerlifting or bodybuilding programmes that just aren't designed for someone training your sport. A programme written by a BJJ athlete and practitioner, for BJJ athletes and practitioners. Designed to have you feeling the best you ever have on the mats.
And no — you don't have to be an athlete to do this. No matter who you are, if you train BJJ, you deserve to feel good while doing it.
Riana was frustrated and unmotivated to lift on a regular basis — leading to a lack of sufficient S&C and a cycle of injuries that kept interrupting her training. Until she started working with me.
"Being jacked is the best thing about training with Conor. I haven't sustained any major injuries — and even minor injuries and niggles never last over a week or two since I've started lifting with him. I feel stronger on the mats, and I've had feedback from people reflecting this. I've hit fantastic PBs by proxy of regular training."
Before you even start, we get on a call. We make sure you're on the right programme for where you are, and we set you up to get the absolute most out of the 8 weeks.
Whether you're looking to get bigger and stronger, build serious cardio for the mats, or use this as competition prep — there's a program for you. From complete gym beginners to experienced lifters.
Not a generic meal plan. Individualised nutrition work built around your training load, your lifestyle, and your goals. Fuel for the sport.
8 weeks of check-ins with individualised feedback and form critique to make sure you're performing the programme as you should. No disappearing after sign-up.
8 weeks of live sessions and Q&As covering the topics that give you the tools to navigate the sport long-term — training, recovery, nutrition, injury management.
Every exercise in the programme has a demonstration video. Zero guesswork. You'll never be left wondering if you're lifting with good form or doing something that'll wreck you.
Most S&C programmes assume you're already fit. Grapple Strength meets you where you are — then builds you into something your training partners and opponents don't want to deal with.
All of this for less than €1.78 a day.
With a busy life it can be hard to envision how you're going to get to work, get all your training in, and still have time for the important things — family, home life, everything else. That's exactly why the onboarding call exists.
We'll go through a weekly planner system with you — I'll recommend the best programme for your needs, then sit down with you and advise you on how to fit it into your week. No guesswork, no clashing with your mat time. Just a clear plan that actually works with your life.
Before Mo started training with me, he always struggled with smaller grapplers who were much stronger than him. With a very long frame, he was too weak for the lighter weight classes and regularly lost based on physicality alone.
Here's what changed.
"I've filled out my frame — gained a good 15kg of solid muscle. I am finally able to match athletes in my weight class in terms of athleticism. While I've never been an athlete that's injured a lot, I've been even more injury resistant than before and am almost completely injury free. I've since won a European title at Purple belt, silver medalled at Brown belt Europeans, and fought on big international stages like ADXC and Ocean Pro. I don't think I would be able to compete on this level without my strength and athletic training."
